Simply place the appropriate stitch card on the front of the machine for the project you’re in the mood to create. It’s so easy, it takes just seconds. Four cards let you access a wide variety of stitches for fashion, home dec, quilting or crafts. There are 92 programmed stitches from which to choose, but that’s just the beginning. You can also customize a fifth stitch card with your favorite stitches using the BERNINA® exclusive Customized Pattern Selection (CPS) software, giving you the choice of 228 total stitches! The virtuosa 155 “my choice” is a full-sized machine with all of the power and precision you’d expect from a BERNINA®. And it comes with a variety of features and tools that makes any sewing project easier. For instance, it includes our exclusive U-shaped Compact Fluorescent Light (CFL) and our innovative, knee-operated Free Hand System (FHS), which raises the presser foot and lowers the feed dog so you can keep both hands on the fabric. With creative features like these, the choice is easy. EXCLUSIVE! Temporary Altered Stitch Memory. Stitch alterations (Length, Width, Needle Position) are stored in temporary memory; when you return to a stitch during that sewing session, the altered settings are automatically restored. Stitch Memory. 30 places are available to create decorative stitch combinations or lettering for label. Patterns remain in memory until cleared. Securing function. Secures stitches at the beginning and the end by sewing in place. Great for securing individual stitches and combinations. Eight Presser Feet. The 8 presser feet (#1, #2, #3A, #4, #5, #6, #10, #37) that are included cover most general sewing tasks such as seaming, piecing, zippers, blind hema and buttonholes, as well as decorative work including edgestitching applique and decorative stitch embroidery. Over 70 additional presser feet and attachments are available to make specialty-sewing tasks such as pintucks and piping easier to sew with truly professional looking results.
